About the Creator
About the Artist
Hi, everyone! Before telling you all about myself, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you very much for being interested in not only Hall of the Art Thieves, but interested in art as a whole. Art is being taught less and less within schools across the world, especially within the United States. With advancements in technology, my hope is that this game will spark a sense of enjoyment, intrigue, and curiosity in learning about art. Nowadays, we see signs for advertisements, posters, brochures, and graphics on websites and on social media. These graphics have symbolism, meanings, and stories behind the art, no different than paintings composed hundreds of years ago. Art today, no matter the technology, is influence by the art of history, and their messages and stories deserve to be told. So, thank you for wanting to hear their stories!
My name is Carey Clement, Jr., and I am the designer, developer, creator, and owner of Hall of the Art Thieves. I've always had a passion for art and art history, so much that it has become my career within both work and my continuing education. I enjoy going to museums and seeing these works in person, as digital representations do not do them justice. That was my main reason for including the actual locations of each original artwork within Hall of the Art Thieves, to be able to share with you all where each is located so you can visit them in person and experience their stories and their grandeur.
Again, thank you for your interest in art and in Hall of the Art Thieves. Please be sure to sign up for the monthly newsletter (which can be found on the home page) as well as follow both me and the game on social media:

Feel free to follow any or all accounts, as well as say hi! Tell me about your favorite artwork, favorite artist, or favorite museum. I've indicated my favorite work of art within the website: Jacob van Ruisdael's Jewish Cemetery (1650). I'd be happy to talk about art with you anytime!
